Joseph Joseph EasyStore™ Squeegee
We designed the EasyStore™ slimline shower squeegee to feature its own storage holder that attaches securely to tiles or a glass shower screen and includes a handy hook for hanging a range of bathroom accessories. Starting from an open brief, developing the product to production, there was a focus on functional innovation. The result is a simple design with clever built in features at don’t compromise the paired back aesthetic.

Process
We started by examining shower cleaning habits and storage challenges. The brief prioritised seamless, tool-free placement and slim, accessible design.
We then refined the handle geometry for grip comfort and achievable reach. The blade and head thickness were optimized for durability and flexibility against curved glass.
Next we developed an adaptable suction mounting system, which, with the use of a hole through the handle, combined with a functional hook for hanging sponges, washcloths, or loofahs.
We selected ABS and TPE materials for UV and moisture resistance, ensuring a robust, hygienic finish. Suction performance and hook strength were validated under repetitive use scenarios.
Rapid prototypes and factory feedback informed the refinement of the blade, suction cup seal, and handle ergonomics. The project columnated with the development of full production-ready CAD and CMF spec.
